I was on the fence over the reviews but saw one that mentioned they wear them around town as "advertisement" and I LOVE them for this! I jumped and got them, despite reviews, and yes, there is an issue with the waistband. In fact the material sucks you skin tight the first attempt to put them on then kind of molds to you and doesn't go back until washed. I wore them to take a class, not teach, to test drive them. It wasn't horrible, I did hike them up a couple times but no big deal, but I do LOVE them to wear around, love the way they look, feel and fit. another reviewer mentioned cutting a small hole and adding elastic or a drawstring in the waist and now she loves them. If I can do that without destroying them, that would be a great idea. for the price, I am so glad I bought them and went back for black but sadly they are sold out! I need a medium if anyone wants to sell theirs!! ;) Also, I make sure I wear a longer torso tank or top in general with them, then if they DO slip a bit, no peep show!

i luv these pants on the computer, as well as in the package... but when I put them on... different story.
While teaching I almost had a disaster on my hands - these pants do not stay up (there's no elastic in the waste) and when they are up, the undergarments are not! Very cute for wearing around the house or to the store but DEFINITELY not to teach or take class in!

I bought these on sale, with limited size selection. I have two other Zumba bottoms--both small. The medium size doesn't stay up in class for me; I am hiking them up in between songs. I think the lower-rise is the issue. Otherwise, these pants are well-made and comfortable.

I really liked the color, the fabric and the design...however it's not possible to wear them, they definitely keep coming down, even when I'm not even dancing...I wish they were more tight in the waist. I don't recommend them... I totally love the pants, they are very pretty but can't wear them.I even bought a smaller size, but even thou they were tight on my legs, not so much in the waist...

To put this review in context, I'm 5'9 and have a long torso and long legs. I wear a U.S. size 6 or 8 in street clothes, depending on the cut. I have an hourglass shape, so it can be difficult to find bottoms that fit in both the hips and the waist.
I ordered a size medium in these leggings with high hopes, but they were soon dashed when I wore them in class the first time. It seemed like the more I sweated, the looser the waist became. It should also be noted these are very low rise leggings.
I had refrained from ordering Zumba bottoms of any kind in the past because of all the negative feedback I've heard from friends about inconsistent sizing. Some of them have had the same problem with other leggings that I experienced with these "Feel Free" leggings. I tried wearing them again, but I quickly grew tired of having to pull up my waistband every few minutes.
They fit great in the legs, but that doesn't matter when I can't keep my rear covered because the waist keeps sliding down.
No, I do not recommend this product.

I had the same problem. The first time I wore them, I was pulling them up during the entire class. I'm having a drawstring put in the waistline, which is costing more money. I do not recommend them.

I was reading other reviews and I don't understand why they were rated so low. These are by far, my favorite zumba bottoms. They fit me like a glove. I'm 4"11 (yes, pretty short) and 115lbs. I ordered a small and they fit just fine. I'm usually a S in cargos too. They do run a tiny bit loose around the waist area. I probably have like half an inch of room but, to me? That's a good thing! Why would you want it any tighter? I personally hate it when your waistband is too tight and it pushes your love handles out. It is uncomfortable and it doesn't look good. They sit right below my belly button. They are flexible and very breathable. I love them so much, I'm about to order the purple ones. My friend owns those, and the color looks just like the picture by the way. Unlike what a review below me stated... *makes me wonder if their screen color setting was off*

Waistband way too big!!

I was really excited to get these leggings in the mail. I read the reviews and went down a size, purchasing a medium. I ordered the purple and let me tell you they are not as deep purple as they are in the picture! They are more like a light purple. Also the waistband was too big, I felt the pants sliding down while teaching my class I was worried I was going to flash my class! I'm going to figure out how to make them smaller since I do like how they look on me otherwise.

I love how these feel, I too bought a smaller size due to previous posts but they still slide down. I cut two small slits on each side of the band and inserted a belt. Problem solved.

I'm not sure why these got such bad reviews! I ordered a size smaller as suggested and they fit me great. I normally wear a medium in cargos and I got a small in these. I'm 5'2" and 125, size 6. I really like them. I've gotten a lot of compliments on them as well! And you def can't see through them when you bend over or squat or anything. They are low rise. They come a couple inches below my belly button and sit on my hips so if you don't like low rise or have a a bigger booty, these might not work. They do fall down a little bit, especially if I"m doing a lot of squats or something but not so much that it annoys me.

II order this in small I'm 5'2" 130 and they run big from waist, I just did a small hole from the inside of the waist line and I attached a thin elastic and guess what? they are my favorite!!! :) The fabric is very nice and the silver Zumba logo on the bottom of the leg it's hot dryer resistant. :)

I love these pants. the only thing is that i thin they are a little too high on the waist, and if i fold the waist they look AWESOME but of course during class the waistband wouldnt stay folded... and so they run down a bit so the waistband stay properly, and it causes it to be a bit in between my legs, but its nothing i cant deal it, I am actually ordering another one one size smaller to see if it fits lower. i love the material and the fact it doesnt have elastic on the waist so i can wear them with bra tops without looking like a number 8

I wear a size 2 and ordered an XS..... the calf part was fitted, but I love that they are thick and they stayed up for the most part....It didn't show sweat stains down yonder.... A few tugs here and there, but better than the shout out capri waistbands.... I want them in all colors...ZO did you say Lime green!?!?!?!

I read reviews about these pants before I bought them and figured we all have different shapes mayb it will fit good. NO the pants are super low fitting and just dont fit right, and i dont like the feel of the fabric

I wear leggings like this all the time out-and-about as I'm an avid walker and simply enjoy dressing casually. I bought these to promote Zumba and my classes. I would not consider wearing them to class as the material is thick and would be overly hot, plus, like most pants I buy from Zumba (and I was expecting this), you can't keep the darn things up when you dance! And may I say, in general, constantly pulling up my pants during class is embarrassing, and, I always hope it's not a distraction to students.
I've actually had to get used to them feeling like they're falling down just when I'm walking! Bottom line, great for promotion, not so great for dancing. :-)

I love the pattern, love the quality, love the fit....HATE the waistband. These are super cute but like others I spent the whole class pulling them up. I will get the purple pair when they go on sale so then I can justify paying to alter them.

I do love the look of these pants and the low waiste band, but.... I got a small and they literally fall off me when dancing. Embarrassing, I'll have to take them to get a tighter waistband put in. I usually do not have this problem with other brands of pants?

As a curvy girl with a smaller waist (size 14) & bigger hips I was excited when I heard these pants fit better for us curvy gals but I still ordered a XXL because of my hips. At first try on I was in love..they fit great. But as soon as I began dancing it was a countdown till pulling them back up! Soo frustrating. Ther just isn't enough elastic in the waist or they would be pretty perfect. I'd say find a work around for them or buy a size smaller. Almost a home run ZO!

So, I cut a small hole on the inside of the waistband next to the seam, and using a safety pin attached to the 1"wide elastic I purchased ($2.00 or less), I slid the elastic through. Once I get my sewing machine set up I will finish the job by stitching the elastic and closing the hole, but for now it works fine. I have to do this for a lot of the Zumba pants I buy.

Sure these look cute, but you will spend the entire class pulling them up. I think they naturally sit quite low anyway from the photos, but the waistband has no elastic in it at all, which is surprising. They also come up large, order a size down from normal.
