Different than other cargos

I am still trying to decide how I feel about these pants. The material is comfortable. The size is about the same as other cargos, maybe a little on the small side. What I wasn't crazy about is that every curve or lump shows through this material. I guess that's only a problem if you have a little extra junk. I am losing weight and like them better now, but I have had them for several months and haven't been comfortable wearing them until now, just not flattering. The legs are something to get used to, too. Because I am shorter, they blouse out above the elastic at the bottom a little, it's not quite the 'genie' look, but I am still getting used to it. I guess they are just a different look, I may decide I like them better as I wear them more.

I wish I could trade in all my other pants for these! They are so light and breathable and so comfortable! I am 5'7 and 120 and they fold nicely into capris - 5 stars for sure!

These are my first pair of Zumba pants, and they are to die for! My instructor says these are the softest pants made specifically for Zumba, and numerous people have asked if they are silk (they ARE soft, but they have to be joking).
I'm 5'4", 134 lbs, 24 years old, have a bit of a post-baby pudge, a moderately chunky booty, and the size MEDIUM fits me well. I got the Candy Apple color, and they are really more like a bright raspberry — not as red as I'd envisioned.
People complained about the bands being too tight around the calves, but I can't really imagine that being a big problem unless you have noticeably large calves. I feel like mine are on the larger-end, and it feels like they could be even beefier and the bands would still be comfortable. If you have medium-sized calves, I wouldn't worry about it. Both the waist & ankle bands are very stretching, and in my opinion, not constricting at all.
They seem to fit well between my hips and waist, although I usually prefer pants at my waist now that I have a mama pudge. My lumps don't really bulge from the lower waist band though, and IMO the curve of the back-pockets make my butt look nicer!! The only flaw I try not to dwell on is how the crotch bunches. If the waist band rides up, the crotch area gets tighter on me, and it causes minimal pleating from the crotch to the thighs. Not very noticeable, but maybe something to consider in a future version.

These pants are so comfortable and have become my favorites. The bands at the ankle/leg are not as tight as everyone is making them out to be, I, too, have large calves (ever since junior high have not been able to buy zip up boots - I am 40 now) and they work on my calves perfectly. Stay put for the entire 55 minute class. I love these and recommend them to everyone.

Curvy or not...these pants are the bomb!!!! I've had every cargo from Zumba...some are too tight, some are too lose...overall, you can't really move freely in them.
Now....these jam cargos...LIKE A CLOUD!!! The red candy doesn't show your sweat (like most other Zumba pants), the fit is between a regular cargo, Jennie pants, and the new MC pants from Zumba.
GET THEM!!! Won't regret it.
I wear anything from an XS, S, M in Zumba pants...you know, they are not very regular with sizing....I'm 5'4" and 120lbs, got the M so I have room to move in...PERFECT FIT!!!!

I just received these in the mail, and they are wonderful! The waistband is like many of the other cargos I own, and you can adjust the length of the leg to your liking. The ankle "band" is snug, but it didn't move while teaching. Lots of room to move and shake!
I am 5'7 140lbs and ordered a medium and they fit perfectly!

As Joey on "Friends" says, "I'm curvy and I like it!" My philosophy exactly. I am a fit, curvy woman and embrace the way my Creator designed me. THESE pants are PHENOMENAL. Finally a pair of Zumba pants designed with curvier instructors in mind. I bought the red pair and will soon be purchasing the black pair as well. They are light weight, breathe very well, comfortable fabric, and stay in place during lunges, squats, jumping jacks, you name it. I'm a size 10 and got the XXL, I probably would've been good going with the XL but I liked the more baggy fit and feel. Again, these are WONDERFUL

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO comfortable!!!!!! I normally wear a medium in cargo pants but bought a large based on other reviews....glad I did! Don't think I would've fit my booty in otherwise...lol. (My hip measurement is 41 in.)

i have always been skeptical about zumba sizing because i have hips and booty. i have found that if i stick to purchasing an xl, i usually cant go wrong. i am 5'4 1/2, 155 lbs with a solid muscular build...i purchased these pants in black in a size xl and they were perfect! the material feels good against the skin. they are breathable. the waist fits perfectly. now the cuffs at the bottom are a bit snug around my calves, but i don't feel like they are going to cut off my circulation. and the best part is that i can squat and bend with no worries of showcasing my booty! i LOVE these pants and wish they came in more colors.

I absolutely loved these cargo capris!!! I was a bit skeptical at first after reading all the reviews, but I was absolutely content with these capris. The material is awesome and lightweight, just perfect for working out zumba style!! They are also true to size and very flattering in all the right areas!!! Super excited to order these in the red color!!! Yes I definitely recommend these cargo capris.

I love the way they fit, but like some others have said, the cuffs on the bottom are REALLY tight. I have muscular calves and had a hard time getting them up. I like these pants because they had room in the thighs, but the waist to me was very SMALL. I'm curvy, and usually buy an XXL in cargos and XL in the leggins. I've never had a XXL that I didn't feel totally comefortable in. They pull really tight in the crotch area because of my bigger butt, but with the material it's very uncomfortably noticable. I love everything else about them, but the pulling made me so uncomfortable they had to go back. These aren't meant for booty girls.

Tight Ankle cuff and awkward length

I ordered these pants because I was interested in the slim cut and new style. I am 5'3 145, but carry more of my weight on top than bottom (I wear size 4 bottoms, size L tops). These pants hit me at the ankle, and that was also the only place the cuff felt comfortable. I have slim calves, but when I pulled the cuffs up to make capris, I cut off circulation in my lower leg?! So to wear the pant I have to leave the cuff down...and the slim fit sits awkwardly on my frame...so I end up looking like a pudgy genie. These are going back. I wanted to like you, Jam Cargos, I really did!

I am a 5'4", 130 lb. female and usually wear a small in name brand athletic pants. These genie pants are very low waisted and have tight cuffs on the legs. I do not have large calf muscles but felt like they might cut off the circulation when I dance. The low waist was not attractive on this 40 year old mom of two! Instant muffin top. Eeewww! Definitely buy a size larger than usual. Otherwise a nice product. Cute styling and soft material. If you like low waisted they will be a win, win!

I am 5'5", weigh 132 lbs and usually a size 6-8. I ordered a large and they fit perfect. A tad bit short in length, but almost negligible. Super easy to move in - think 'genie' pants!

They are the greatest!! Love the fabric and they strech when you squat, lift your knees etc. I,m ordering the other color...wish they had more !!! I usually wear a size 6, large in cargos and medium in other (spandex), but these I ordered a Large and they are perfect.
